Most Researched Cars of the Week: December 28 – January 4
One of the most popular cars on sale today, the Toyota Corolla, attracted the most attention this past week here on AutoGuide.
The Corolla is almost all-new for 2014, and now includes a CVT as well a new edgy look. Some of the Corolla’s biggest competitors, the Mazda3 and the Ford Focus were also popular searches this week.
The Mazda3 has been gaining critical acclaim since it launched, even being named AutoGuide.com’s Car of the Year. It also got a new look for 2014, proving along with the Corolla that small cars don’t have to be boring.
The Focus also got some attention this week, with most of the views going to the ST hot-hatch version. The car uses a 2.0-liter turbocharged direct-injection 4-cylinder that makes 252 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque with a 0-60 time of 6.5 seconds.
Chevrolet’s Camaro was also a popular search this week. Ranging from a naturally aspirated V6 to a massive 7.0-liter V8 with 505 hp, the Camaro can be had in a variety of flavors to suit many needs.
Rounding out the list is the ever popular Ford F-150 pickup truck.
