Members of National Car Rental’s frequent renters club who recently took a Chevrolet Impala can get a weekend of seat time in another one for free.

The promotion offered to National’s Emerald Club Executive and Executive Elite members in select areas and those who rented an Impala from November 1 through last weekend. They will receive invitations from Chevrolet to take another weekend test drive in the Impala for free. Those that receive invitations will have until the end of February to take advantage of the offer.

To qualify for the free Impala test drive, renters who recently rented an Impala must live in Phoenix, Atlanta or select counties in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York.

“When you pick an Impala, you’re giving the heads up that maybe you’re interested in that car,” said Kurt Kohler, senior vice president of fleet acquisition and remarketing at Enterprise Holdings. The promotion hopes to entice interested consumers to visit the Chevy dealership after their test drive.
