RC F GT3 Flexes Lexus’ Muscle in Europe

Lexus has revealed its RC F GT3 race car concept, which will make its official debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.

The modified RC F boasts over 540 hp and will meet GT3 international racing standards, which means it could be competing in the 24 Hours of Nurburgring and the Super GT series in Japan. The Japanese automaker also announced that it plans to provide GT3 vehicles to racing teams next year, meaning we might be seeing several RC F GT3 race cars starting in 2015.

The V8 engine in the RC F GT3 has been modified to meet regulation standards and Lexus announced that it weighs in at 2,755.8 lbs. Joining the RC F GT3 in Geneva will be the European debut of the new sporty coupe from the brand including the RC 350 F Sport, RC 350 and RC F. The RC 350 F Sport is powered by a V6 powerplant with 306 hp and 277 lb-ft of torque.
