Mercedes-Benz ‘ME’ is the Future of Customer Service

A mobile website designed to deliver more accessible services to Mercedes-Benz customers was announced today at the Geneva Motor Show.

Launching later this year in English and German, the site gives users the ability to see the status of their car, schedule service, apply for financing, see updates on Mercedes-Benz products and even schedule a taxi.

The mobile app is designed to encourage interaction with Mercedes’ customers. Through the mobile site, Mercedes owners will be able to see how much fuel and range they have left, where they’ve parked their car and even lock the doors remotely. Owners will also be able book service appointments quickly and easily.

Even those without a car are included, as they can call in a Daimler-powered taxi, either through car2go or a new service called Mercedes-Benz Rent. You can even rent a bicycle through the site if you desire.

The site will launch in Summer of 2014 and is a major part of Mercedes’ strategy to deliver the best customer experience by the year 2020.
