The next-generation Cadillac CTS-V will feature over 560 hp according to latest reports.

The new CTS-V is expected to be powered by the same V8 engine found in the Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 which boasts 620 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque in the Vette. It is unlikely however that the CTS-V will have the same performance figures at the Z06, so expect it to be more in the high 500 to low 600 range.

Also finding its way to the new CTS-V is the American automaker’s eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. No official details on the CTS-V have been revealed, but expect it to launch in 2015 with performance to rival the BMW M5.
