Lexus’ front-wheel drive luxury sedan can claim a five-star safety rating for the 2014 model year.

Scoring a repeat of its rating from the 2013 model year, the Japanese luxury sedan earned top marks in the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s crash tests. It earned five stars in the both the front- and side-impact tests and four in the rollover test.

Lexus already garnered a “good” rating in the moderate front overlap, side, roof and head restraint categories. The IIHS doesn’t show a rating yet for the small overlap crash test. Pending at least an “acceptable” rating in that test, the 2014 ES350 and ES300h will both also be named “Top Safety Pick +” vehicles.
