Lexus is gearing up to launch a new small crossover in the United States and has just launched a new configurator to allow you build your very own NX.

The configurator is still pretty basic at the moment, only allowing you to adjust the color, trim level and type of wheels. It is a way for potential buyers to figure out exactly how they’d like their own NX to look sitting in their driveway. Specifics on interior packaging and price have not yet been divulged by Lexus.

There are two models to choose from, the NX 200t and NX300h, both of which can be dressed up with the ‘F-Sport’ package. The 2015 Lexus NX 200t will get 235 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque from a 2.0-liter engine, the brand’s first powerplant to use a twin-scroll turbocharger. Also joining the NX 200t in America will be the NX 300h hybrid with a total system output of 194 hp from the 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle engine, generator, motor and battery.

The Lexus NX will compete with the Lincoln MKC, BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA and Audi Q3.
