Saleen has teased its next great Ford Mustang-based creation.

The company teased the first image of its upcoming 2015 Ford Mustang 302, which appears to be a render filled with a carbon fiber front fascia, an aggressively styled hood and an overall exotic design to the front end. The most noticeable change is the front grille area of the front bumper, which gives the headlights a sleeker appearance despite being the stock units.

Saleen hasn’t released any sort of specifications or detailed information on its upcoming 302, but expect it to have your standard suspension and performance modifications to go along with the new aesthetics. It will likely have an option of a naturally aspirated or supercharged V8 and now that the Challenger SRT Hellcat has been confirmed with over 700 hp, we’re hoping Saleen will be aiming to trump that figure.

At first glimpse I thought this post was about the Dodge Challenger. Luckily it's only the front view that shares the resemblance.
