Lexus has jumped into the luxury compact crossover segment with the new 2015 NX, our review of which was the most popular on last week.

The hybrid version of the NX offers class-leading fuel economy at 22 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway. The other option is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder turbo that makes 235 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque.

Another new luxury compact crossover proved popular this week, the 2015 Porsche Macan. Although it starts at $50,895, the Macan can be dressed up with loads of options taking the price tag up to $102,435. For that, you get a Turbocharged 3.6L V6 that makes 400 hp and 406 lb-ft of torque.

The all-new 2015 Subaru Outback takes the third spot on the list this week. Subaru has ditched the Outback’s automatic transmission in favor of a CVT, which is now the only option. So can the Outback still hack it off road?

A high-power station wagon takes the fourth spot. The Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Wagon uses a 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 that makes 577 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, sent through all four wheels through a seven-speed automatic.

Last up this week is the 2014 Jeep Wrangler S. One of the low-end models, the S comes with a six-speed manual transmission and costs $28,645.
