2016 Ferrari FF Getting Mid-cycle Refresh With Turbo V8

The Ferrari FF will get a thorough refresh come 2016.

According to a recent report, the 2016 Ferrari FF will benefit from a mid-cycle refresh that will include more power, updated styling and a wider range of powertrains to choose from. The model’s V12 engine is expected to generate close to 700 hp, up from the current 660 hp. The four-wheel drive system will be updated with the latest electronic management systems while the Italian automaker will likely add an entry-level model featuring the turbocharged V8 powerplant used in the California T.

The model will also benefit from an eight-speed twin-clutch transmission while the exterior of the sports coupe will benefit from lightweight carbon fiber. Inside, Ferrari will update the FF’s infotainment system complete with Apple CarPlay as part of the Modifacto package.
