Nissan Model Mashups Showcase Bizarre Creations

Ever wonder what a Nissan Versa Note would look like if it had the power-train and styling cues of the Nissan 370Z? Apparently you’re not the only one, as the Facebook page of Nissan’s Motorsport division is showing us the results of some cross-breeding within its lineup.

Introduced in February, the Facebook page asked for fans to supply some ideas that combine two Nissan vehicles into one, with the results being posted this summer. While the 370Z-Versa Note combo seen above is interesting, other Mashups aren’t as appetizing, like the GT-R NISMO + Titan Mashup (seen right) which forced the brand to address complaints.

“NISMO fans don’t worry this is only a mashup,” posted NISMO Community Manager, Max. “Part of this project was to make the most extreme combinations of each vehicle. In doing so, we may or may not have defied laws of physics, classic design queues, and, well, all common sense. But, hey that’s the fun of it. Love it, hate it, or post hilarious memes about it, it’s just another way of spending time talking and thinking about the passion for everything on 4 wheels that we share, as absurd as the conversation may get from time to time. ”

A full gallery of all the NISMO Mashups to date is below, including a Juke+Xterra combination and a funky shooting-brake GT-R that was achieved by melding the Leaf and the GT-R.
