Tesla Roadster Receiving 400-Mile Range Battery Upgrade
Current Tesla Roadster can look forward to an increase to their vehicle’s driving range.
Earlier this year, Tesla CEO Elon Musk stated that the Roadster will be upgraded this year, but didn’t elaborate on what the upgrade would be. According to a report from Auto Express, that upgrade will be a new-generation battery that will increase the Tesla Roadster’s driving range to around 400 miles.

The Tesla Roadster was produced from 2008 to 2012 and currently has a driving range of about 245 miles. Musk referred to the Roadster’s battery as an old-generation unit and upgrading to a new-generation battery pack will increase its range allowing Roadster owners to comfortably drive long distances.

When is tesla coming to east coast? I live in Florida and have no option to own a tesla. Give an ETD please.
Too small and too spartan for a $100k car. Also even with a 400 mile range, not enough charging stations and charging takes way, WAY too long. I'll wait for an improved version.
