Audi has updated its A6 sedan, giving it a similar treatment as the rest of its lineup.

The German automaker has refreshed the A6 with new engines, transmissions and headlights along with a new infotainment system with the treatment trickling down the entire A6 family including the S6, S6 Avant and RS 6 models. The engine lineup on the new A6 includes three TFSI units with power output ranging from 190 hp to 333 hp while the five TDI units will be available in Europe ranging from 150 hp to 326 hp. The S6 will come equipped with a 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine producing 450 hp.

Exterior tweaks are subtle with the lower front bumper and air intakes getting minor tweaks, while the headlights sport a new style with LED running lights. For the interior, the German automaker gave the A6 more refinement with a power-retracting eight-inch infotainment system and an optional night vision assist system.

Audi has not confirmed whether all the changes will reach the U.S., but an updated A6 is confirmed for this market next year.
