This week a healthy mix of cars from different segments all made the “most researched” list.

The 2014 Mazda3 was the most popularly queried new car over the past week in AutoGuide.com’s new car shopping section. Mazda just announced that it is finally offering a manual transmission with the 2.5-liter version of the Mazda3 much to the delight of driving enthusiasts.

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz C-Class also proved to be popular this week and it wasn’t the only Daimler product to do so. The smart fortwo city car was also a widely-researched vehicle. Then there was the Mercedes CLA250. The three-pointed star brand’s new entry point for North America is proving to be a strong seller here despite being front-wheel drive based.

Finally, the Toyota Camry also made this week’s list. For 2015, the car is being re-designed with a new look, fresh trim levels and the same old engines.
