Subaru WRX owners better watch their speed while on the road.

According to a recent report by Insurance.com, the Subaru WRX is the most ticketed car in the U.S., with 33.6 percent of its owners reportedly getting tickets. Coming in second is the Pontiac GTO (32.7%) while third place went to the Scion FR-S (32.6%). While it’s silly to think cars get tickets, it’s an interesting study that reveals which cars attract police attention and it’s no surprise that many are sports cars.

Some surprising cars on the list include the Volkswagen Rabbit in sixth place (29.6%) and the Mercury Topaz (28.8%), while the Toyota Prius c (27.0%) shows owning a hybrid doesn’t mean you’ll be friendly with the law. In total, 526 vehicles were ranked with the average for all cars at 19.9 percent. As for the least ticketed cars in the U.S.? That honor goes to the Ford Ecosport (1.6%) and the Chevrolet Orlando LS, which is reporting an impressive zero percent.
