Toyota is heading to this year’s Paris Motor Show with a new crossover concept.

The crossover segment is the fastest growing in today’s marketplace and the Japanese automaker wants to capitalize with a new hybrid model that will be called the C-HR concept. According to Toyota, the compact crossover concept will combine “a bold new design language with an agile, engaging driving experience and a hybrid powertrain,” slotting below the current RAV4. Earlier this year, the company was spied testing a high-riding variant of its Auris and rumor has it the new model could take the Auris Cross nameplate.

Expect the new crossover to head to dealerships worldwide starting in 2017 and don’t be surprised if it ends up being part of the Scion brand when it arrives in the U.S. The company also announced that the final exterior design for its fuel cell sedan will also make its European debut in Paris.
