Honda’s new crossover will make its first appearance in North America next month.
The 2015 Honda HR-V will make its North American debut at the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show and will be positioned below the CR-V in the Japanese automaker’s lineup. The model is expected to launch this water and is built on the same global compact platform that underpins the new Fit. Inside, expect a versatile and spacious interior thanks to a creative center fuel tank layout.
Honda first shared photos of the new HR-V at this year’s New York Auto Show and is looking to capitalize on the growing crossover segment. The company hasn’t shared powertrain details yet, but a possibility is the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine found in the Fit which provides 130 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque. Look forward to Honda revealing all the specifications for its new HR-V crossover when it debuts this November.
