Audi R10 Supercar ‘Definitely Not Happening’

1

It might be time to finally put the Audi R10 rumors to rest.

Rumored for over half-a-decade, the Audi R10 is definitely not happening according to Audi R&D chief, Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg. Speaking to the media at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, Hackenberg briefly debunked the R10 rumors that gained steam in the days leading up to the show.

The most recent report said that the R10 had been approved for production in 2016 and would feature a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V10 engine producing around 850 hp, but all that is mythical now that the German automaker has outright said the model is not coming to fruition.
