It appears that Audi is readying an RS3 sedan model.

We’ve already seen spy photos of the RS3 five-door hatchback being tested and now a photo has surfaced that shows an S3 sporting plenty of testing equipment attached to it. Considering the S3 is well into production, a vehicle with testing equipment hints that the German automaker is preparing something new, which could also be an S3 plus model but is more likely a sedan variant for the RS3.

Though Audi has not yet confirmed that it is working on an RS3 sedan, Audi of America head Scott Keogh has hinted that one would be in the works. Combine that with the A3 Clubsport quattro concept that Audi showed off earlier this year and it’s just a matter of time before it’s officially announced.

When it does arrive, look for a turbocharged 2.5-liter 5-cylinder under the hood making as much as 360 hp!
