Mazda will be announcing its global motorsports plans at this year’s SEMA Show.
The Japanese automaker will bring its motorsports team to Las Vegas this year and promises to make an “exciting global motorsports announcement” when SEMA opens its doors next Tuesday. While details on what Mazda has planned for next race season are not known, the company did recently announce the return of driver Jonathan Bomarito to its motorsports program for the 2015 Tudor United SportsCar Series.

The Mazda SkyActiv Prototype will be entering its second year of an ambitious five-year engineering development program next year and Bomarito will be one of the four full-time drivers in the Mazda prototypes.
