The Los Angeles Auto Show is just a few weeks away and Audi is preparing a special show for us revolving around the covered up car seen above.
The German automaker released a teaser video starring the company’s new design chief Mark Lichte, who took the position late last year. This car should help give us a strong indication of the brands future design language.
In the video, Lichte talks about three vehicles in the Audi heritage that helped inspire the new concept. The Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car from 1989 as well as the original A8 and TT are highlighted in the video, and Lichte says the concept will feature a sporty, yet emotional design and a look that showcases Audi’s technical prowess and engineering.
The car under the cover is expected to be a four-door grand coupe and has been called the A9, though it hasn’t been confirmed if that’s exactly whats showing at the show.
