Henrik Fisker is returning to the big stage at this year’s Los Angeles Auto Show.

After struggling to turn a company with his own name into a success, Fisker has teamed up with the folks at Galpin Motors to unveil a new car in L.A. What sort of car? Well, it’s anyone’s guess at the moment as both Fisker and Galpin are remaining silent on the topic. While Fisker Automotive had its trials and tribulations, Fisker himself has an impressive resume when it comes to designing cars, being credited with the Aston Martin DB9, BMW Z8 and of course, the Fisker Karma.

With Galpin’s extensive relationship with Ford, it’s a safe assumption that the new car will be based on an existing Ford model. But then again, Fisker has a penchant for luxury rides and he could be returning to his days of being a couchbuilder. Tune in next month when the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show kicks off to see what Fisker plans on doing to revive his name.
