Watch Toyota Turn the Tundra Into a Baja Race Truck

Toyota is looking to conquer the Baja 1000 with its Tundra TRD Pro Series pickup.

The Japanese automaker has shared a video showcasing its upcoming race truck that was unveiled in early August at a special event in Southern California. Toyota will be campaigning the TRD Pro Desert Race Team that will be coached by Ivan “Ironman” Stewart while the roster of drivers include Ted Moncure, Andy Bell, Jamie Bestwick and Ryan Millen.

Out to prove just how versatile its Tundra is, the company transformed a stock Tundra TRD Pro Series into a race-ready vehicle to take on the grueling 1,000-mile race.
