The European Car of the Year Finalists have been announced with seven nominees chosen from a list of 32 candidates.

The seven finalists up for the 2015 European Car of the Year award are the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, Citroën C4 Cactus, Ford Mondeo, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Nissan Qashqai, Renault Twingo and Volkswagen Passat. A total of 59 jurors representing seven publications across seven different countries will help decide the 2015 European Car of the Year.

Of the seven nominees, only two of the vehicles are available in the U.S., the Ford Mondeo which is known as the Fusion and the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. While the Volkswagen Passat nameplate sounds familiar, the model offered in Europe is entirely different than what the U.S. gets.

The 2015 European Car of the Year will be announced at next year’s Geneva Motor Show in March.
