Although the new C-Class is already available at dealerships, the German automaker announced late last year that the current C63 AMG coupe will remain on the market for the 2015 model year. That’s because the company is still busy getting its next-generation C63 coupe ready and the new model will be one of 16 vehicles the brand is launching this year. While details on its powerplant are still unknown, the C63 sedan is expected to be powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine rather than the current naturally-aspirated engine.
As for styling, expect the new C63 coupe to have a distinct appearance with an insider saying that it will be similar to how the S-Class coupe compares to the S-Class sedan. “It looks fantastic – not necessarily what you would expect this car to look like,” the insider told Auto Express in an interview.
