Before its revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Koenigsegg has released a teaser of the Regera.

Along with the photos, Koenigsegg has dropped some juicy details on the new Megacar. Power will sit above 700 hp thanks to a hybrid system that uses electric motors and a 9 kWh liquid-cooled battery pack. The brand says it will be “the fastest accelerating, most powerful production car ever.”

Despite the insane speed, the Regera is going to be more focused on comfort and luxury than all-out performance like the rest of its lineup.

  • Chris Chris on Feb 20, 2015

    • Andreas Andreas on Feb 20, 2015

Not a problem. The One:1 have 1360 hp, over 1000 nm of torque, weighs 1360 kg and is the first megacar ever (It has one megawatt of power) 0-400km/h in 20 sec... The Regera (means "To rule" in swedish) is the second megacar in the world and will probably have similar numbers +electric motors creating about 700hp.. Veyron = no match for the mighty swede!!
