Nissan 370Z Nismo Roadster Concept Video, First Look

Nissan promised a never before seen Nismo concept at the Chicago Auto Show and it delivered… sort of.

Technically speaking the Nissan 370Z Nismo Roadster concept is all new, but it’s really just a convertible version of the existing Nismo 370Z. With that being the case, it’s not a huge surprise that the concept looks production ready with Nissan likely taking a production 370Z convertible and outfitting it with all the same Nismo goodies found on the Nismo 370Z coupe.

Realistically that means the Japanese automaker is gauging interest on the model and whether it should produce and offer a convertible variant of the Nismo 370Z. If a 3.7-liter V6 with 350 hp, 19-inch RAYS wheels and a Recaro-fitted interior exposed by a drop top sounds like your cup of tea, you better speak up.
