Say hello to the CT6 – Cadillac’s flagship sedan.

Scheduled to make its debut tonight, on the eve of the 2015 New York Auto Show, the 2016 Cadillac CT6 has made an early appearance on the internet. The CT6 marks a true competitor in the luxury sedan segment, one that will take on the BMW 7 Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class and Audi A8 models.

Its styling is unmistakably Cadillac, boasting numerous design features found in the current model lineup. The CT6 does draw influence from the Elmiraj concept and it looks to play the part of a flagship sedan that will compete in the full-size luxury market. It will be powered by a new 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with around 400 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque but will also be available with a naturally-aspirated 3.6-liter V6 with about 335 hp and 284 lb-ft of torque.

Check back later for more details on the 2016 Cadillac CT6 as AutoGuide.com will be reporting live from the New York Auto Show.
