Mitsubishi is teasing a crossover concept that it plans to showcase during the 2015 Geneva Motor Show in March.

The concept set to debut at the Pal Expo in Switzerland will showcase a new design language that will characterize the company’s future crossovers and SUVs. From the two images, it looks like Mitsubishi plans to follow the current automotive design trend toward more coupe styled vehicles with a tapered rear end.

But beyond offering a glimpse of what you can expect the next round of Mitsubishi family haulers to look like, the concept will also showcase a two-wheel drive plug-in hybrid powertrain slated for future production models. Mitsubishi hasn’t released details yet about the powertrain, but it will probably be an evolution of the system showcased with the XR-PHEV concept first shown during the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show. In that concept, it was a 1.1-liter engine mated to a electric motor and a high capacity lithium ion battery pack.
