The 2017 Ford GT loves being in front of the camera.

After last week’s round of spy photos, the 2017 Ford GT has been spotted again by photographers and this time they give us a good look at the prototype interior. The American automaker debuted the 2017 Ford GT earlier this year at the Detroit Auto Show in what it said was production form, so the company isn’t being coy by concealing the prototype with loads of camouflage, but the show car’s windows were blacked out.

The 2017 Ford GT will be powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine that will make over 600 hp, but don’t be surprised if it breaks the 700-hp mark. The powertrain will be mated to a seven-speed, dual-clutch transmission that will send power to the rear wheels in what will likely be a formidable package to take on the other supercars of the world.

In order to save weight, Ford is using plenty of carbon fiber and aluminum on the Ford GT’s construction and promises that the sports car will have “one of the best power-to-weight ratios of any production car.” Expect the 2017 Ford GT to enter production late next year.
