The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro will arrive in dealerships this fall with a plethora of performance parts available for purchase.

The American automaker has announced a collection of products for the all-new 2016 Chevrolet Camaro, ranging from a performance air intake and exhaust system to lowering kits, ground effects packages, spoilers and even Brembo brake upgrade kits.

An optional exhaust system will be available for the Camaro SS and Camaro LT in the form of an axle-back system that enhances the sound of the Camaro while offering a premium appearance. The exhaust will not be compatible with the available dual-mode exhaust system.

Lowering kits will provide up to a 0.8-inch drop while optimizing ride quality and vehicle performance. Four kits in total will be available for the LT and SS coupe and convertible models. According to Chevy, the SS kits will not be compatible with vehicles equipped with the available Magnetic Ride Control.

Brembo brake upgrades will be available with four- or six-piston calipers while the performance air intake will be offered for the Camaro SS with the LT1 V8 engine. Lastly, Chevrolet Performance Parts will also offer stylish engine covers in red, black or blue.

“These accessories and parts were designed, engineered and tested by our Camaro team, assuring proper fit and integration – and they are backed by Chevrolet,” said Jim Campbell, GM U.S. vice president of Performance Vehicles and Motorsports.

I can see myself owning a Camaro in several years as a pre-owned model for '16-'17 models. Also will decide a pre-owned Cadillac ATS Coupe, Sedan and CTS around that time when the '16-'17 models come off of the lease.
