Now on sale at Nissan dealerships nationwide, the 2016 Nissan Frontier comes standard with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 152 horsepower. Also available is a 4.0-liter V6 engine with 261 hp and 281 pound-feet of torque with the Frontier S Crew Cab 4×2 SWB model starting from $23,685. The four-cylinder engine is only available in King Cab configuration.
The 2016 Nissan Frontier is offered in both King Cab and Crew Cab body styles and in 4×2 and 4×4 driveline configurations, along with five trim grades: Frontier S, SV, PRO-4X, Desert Runner and SL.
Enhancements for the 2016 model year include the addition of three new exterior colors (Forged Copper, Gun Metallic and Magnetic Black) for eight color options total. There is also a Moonroof Package added to the Frontier Crew Cab SV model.
The range-topping Frontier SL Crew Cab 4×4 LWB V6 model paired to a five-speed automatic transmission will cost $36,295.
