2017 Hyundai Elantra to Start From $17,895

Pricing for the 2017 Hyundai Elantra has been announced.

Entering its sixth generation, the 2017 Hyundai Elantra will start from $17,895 including destination for the entry-level SE model. Its base price is $100 less than the outgoing model and comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission.

Opting for the six-speed automatic will cost $1,000 additional. The base SE trim is available with a Popular Equipment package that outfits the Elantra with a seven-inch Display Audio system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, rearview camera and cruise control. There is also a Tech Package ($1,300) that includes LED daytime running lights, Blind Spot Detection, Rear-Cross Traffic Alert and segment-exclusive hands-free smart trunk.

The only other model available on the 2017 Hyundai Elantra is the Limited that is priced at $23,185. The Limited model comes standard with leather seating and offers a Tech Package ($2,500) that includes an eight-inch touchscreen navigation with Infinity premium audio system and the segment’s first application of Clari-Fi Music Restoration Technology. Also available is the Limited Ultimate Package ($1,900) that adds premium convenience features such as a segment-first integrated integrated memory system for the driver seat and outside mirrors.

The package also offers a suite of advanced safety features such as Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keep Assist System, and HID headlights with Dynamic Bending Light.

All 2017 Hyundai Elantra models are powered by a new 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 147 horsepower and 132 pound-feet of torque. The Elantra SE achieves an EPA fuel economy rating of 33-mpg combined. Joining the lineup later this year will be an Elantra Eco model powered by an all-new 1.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired to an EcoShift seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Expect pricing for the 2017 Hyundai Elantra Eco to be announced closer to its release.
