Nearly 15 years after it arrived in movie theaters, rare behind-the-scenes footage from The Fast and the Furious has surfaced.

The original working title for the movie was Redline and now, seven movies later, the franchise has become a multi-billion dollar series with at least three more movies coming.

Looking back, it’s a sight to see just how young Paul Walker and Vin Diesel are in the footage. And if you’ve been following the import car scene since the early 2000s, you will recognize some of the styling and accessories that were popular back then.

There’s also a good amount of commentary from the actors and director Rob Cohen, giving you some insights to how The Fast and the Furious all began. Unfortunately, actor Paul Walker passed away in late 2013 in a car accident, so it will be interesting to see how the series continues on without his presence.
