It seems like electric supercar startups are appearing out of nowhere.

Earlier this year at the 2016 Consumer Electronics Show, Faraday Future showed off a 1,000-horsepower electric vehicle concept, but it isn’t the only one planning to compete in the electric supercar market. Dubuc Motors has announced that it will launch a car called the Tomahawk on an equity crowdfunding platform called StartEngine.

Although mechanical specifications on the Tomahawk are light, the 2+2 all-electric supercar claims to have a zero-to-60 mph time of three seconds and a top speed of 160 mph. On the outside is an “American look” featuring scissor doors and a panoramic roof, while the interior will boast a friendly touchscreen control panel, navigation, wireless connectivity and hands-free voice-activated commands.

According to Dubuc Motors, the Tomahawk will be built on an aluminum tube and monocoque chassis with an all-aluminum construction. A total of four motors will power the front and rear, making the electric supercar all-wheel drive. It will also have adjustable air suspension. “Nearly 15 years ago, we decided to combine our automotive passion with a stubborn belief that a cleaner and more viable way of producing cars was possible. Our commitment and dedication through exhaustive R&D and numerous prototypes have led us here today. The Tomahawk embodies ingenuity and furthermore is a great vehicle to drive and promote our engagement towards sustainable development”, said Mike Kakogiannakis, co-founder of Dubuc Motors.
