The Audi Q2 is being teased again, this time in a short video.

Expected to debut at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in early March, the Audi Q2 will be the German automaker’s newest compact crossover built on the company’s versatile MQB platform. Although we don’t get a good look at the Audi Q2 in the teaser video, it appears that Audi wants to prove that it will be fully capable of going off-road.

Entry-level models of the new Q2 are expected to get front-wheel drive as standard, while quattro all-wheel-drive will be offered further up the model range. Once it debuts, we should be looking at a crossover that is noticeably shorter than the Q3 and will likely be offered as a five-door model only.

Under the hood, powertrain options should be four-cylinder engines both in gasoline and diesel variants. The model will target younger buyers, with rumors hinting that interior options will be eclectic in terms of trim and material options.

Check back with AutoGuide.com in early March for live coverage of the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, although we suspect the Audi Q2 will be unveiled before the show.
