The 2017 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe has officially joined the lineup.

As the newest member to the C-Class family, the 2017 Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe essentially serves the same purpose as what the AMG Sport model would have been, if the German automaker didn’t give it the axe so soon. Powered by a 3.0-liter biturbo V6 engine, the C43 Coupe offers 362 horsepower and 384 pound-feet of torque. The coupe has a new nine-speed automatic transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel drive.

Zero to 60 mph will take 4.6 seconds in the luxury sports coupe, while its top speed will be electronically limited to 155 mph.

Other AMG goodies in the new model include AMG Ride Control sport suspension with adaptive variable damping, AMG Dynamic Select with five drive modes, an AMG instrument cluster with checkered flag design and 18-inch AMG wheels sporting a five-spoke design. The interior’s upholstery consists of MB-Tex / Dinamica microfiber in black with sport seat upholstery layout with red contrast stitching. On the outside, the C43 Coupe has a different appearance thanks to distinctive front and rear aprons as well as unique exhaust tips.
