All of the heavy camouflage has been dropped from the Mercedes E-Class Coupe, giving us a clear look at the car’s new body.
The E-Class doesn’t stray from the path when it comes to design, looking like a combination of the larger S-Class and the small C-Class. A photo of the interior shows off the new air vent design along with a few small button placement tweaks that allows for a cleaner look overall.
Under the hood, the E-Class Coupe will likely mirror the sedan for offerings, which will include a small turbocharged four-cylinder engine up to a turbo V6 and V8. A plug-in hybrid variant along with a diesel are both expected to be offered as well.
A sporty AMG version of the E-Class Coupe is also rumored to have been green lit for this generation of the car.
Technology should also mimic the new E-Class sedan which means that the new coupe will come packing a 12.3-inch widescreen display, semi-autonomous driving features, touch-sensitive buttons, a remote parking pilot and more.
