A prototype for the Tesla Model 3 has been spotted running down the freeway in California.

Spied near Tesla headquarters in Palo Alto, Calif., this is the first time a Model 3 has been seen actually underway cruising down the road. The poster of video claims that he and his passengers have reservations down on the Model 3.

Deliveries of the car are supposed to begin by the end of 2016, offering shoppers an all-electric option that has at least 215 miles of range. Tesla took $1,000 pre-orders for the car, of which they have already accepted roughly 400,000. Customers can get their money back anytime or decide to put it towards a Model S or Model X.

It is expected to take until 2020 for all of the Model 3s that have been pre-ordered to be delivered.
