Spy photographers have caught the Bentley Bentayga testing a diesel engine in the U.K.

The Bentley Bentayga is the British automaker’s first SUV model ever, and the company is getting ready for another milestone: its first diesel vehicle ever. Although this particular prototype looks like your run-of-the-mill Bentayga, running the plates against the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency in the U.K. shows that it is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 diesel engine, same as the one found in the Audi SQ7.

In the Audi model, the oil burner pushes out 435 horsepower, but you can expect a performance increase in the Bentley Bentayga. After all, the standard Bentayga likes to brag that it’s the fastest, most powerful SUV in existence and its diesel variant shouldn’t lag far behind.

Visually, the only changes on the diesel prototype are slightly different exhaust tips, and it’s unclear if Bentley plans on major differentiating features on its styling. The big question is whether or not the luxury automaker will bring the diesel model to the U.S., but it’s unlikely, given the massive Volkswagen scandal that is still ongoing.

Expect to see the Bentley Bentayga diesel to debut at the 2016 Paris Motor Show in late September.
