The most glaring addition to this car is the massive tall wing on the trunk along with a smaller wing that rides underneath right on the rear deck. There is also a large bulge seen in the hood along with new cooling vents, likely there to accommodate whatever massive powertrain lurks beneath.
Rumor has it that it will be a supercharged V8 pumping out up to 700 horsepower. A manual transmission is said to be available, while the brand’s new 10-speed automatic should also be available.
A new front lip spoiler and large air intakes to cool the brakes can also be seen, while the calipers are finished in blue, a classic ZR1 trait.
If these photos show what will be close to the production ZR1, then it is safe to say that the mid-engine Corvette that has been spied testing will not be badged as the ZR1.
