The Acura NSX has been named the 2017 AutoGuide.com Reader’s Choice Car of the Year.

After years of anticipation, Acura’s latest sports car has finally arrived sporting a hybrid turbocharged powertrain with 573 horsepower and 476 pound-feet of torque. Owning such an exquisite machine will cost $157,800 including delivery, but for some, it’s a small price to pay for pure enjoyment while behind the wheel. Tipping the scales at 3,800 pounds, the Acura NSX might not be a lightweight but it holds its own on the track.

A cost of $157,800 including delivery, but for some, its a small price to pay for a car that seat 2 and can be beat by a Tesla S that cost half that price.

A Tesla is also much faster than many Ferraris and Lamborghinis. And much less expensive...does this make it a better car? No...just a different car. Take both on the NSX and the Tesla on an actual track with turns and see which is better performing and more exciting.

The latest Grand Tour just had this car on it. They didn't seem all that impressed compared to others in the same range.

You must not have been paying attention. Verbatim from James May: "This is only an eighth of the price of the LaFerrari, and it's actually cleverer. I love this. I love the way it looks. I love the sounds it makes. I like the sophistication of the hybrid drive. I like the performance. I like the steering. I like the interior. I really, really like it. And I find myself wanting one quite badly."
