Toyota’s aftermarket division TRD has put together some one-off versions of the C-HR crossover and 86 sports car to show off at the Tokyo Auto Salon.

A total of six different TRD-tuned models are on display at the Toyota stand in Tokyo this year, bringing along plenty of body modifications, custom wheels and tons of add-ons.

The C-HR is done two ways, Aggressive and Extreme, to show off two different looks for the new small crossover. The Aggressive goes for a track-focused look, packing a custom front bumper, LED daytime running lights, custom rear diffuser, extended side skirts and a lip spoiler on the tailgate. On the Extreme model, TRD went for desert-racing style thanks to new red mud flaps, a big front spoiler, black wheel arch flares and 16-inch alloy wheels. It’s not just all looks either as the Extreme C-HR also packs a motion control beam for the suspension, tire pressure monitoring system and door handle protectors.

For the 86 sports car, TRD has devised some carbon fiber parts, helping the car save weight. The Toyota 86 14R-60 Carbon Concept also comes with an extended spoiler lip and a revised front bumper shape which is reminiscent of the Toyota 86 TRD Griffon Concept.

A second 86 is on display, but this one favors off-road racing. The 86 rally concept, which was built in collaboration with the repeat winner of the Japan Rally Championship, Fumio Tahara, is ready to tackle the mud on its big tires which help give the car a lift to clear obstacles.

For when the terrain gets properly tough, TRD has brought the Hilux Revo TRD, featuring beefed up suspension and a full snorkel.

Finally, the Hiace TRD Concept is out to prove that vans can be cool, while some of the concept’s parts including the front spoiler and mudflaps are being considered for production.
