Besides the new look, the 2018 Honda Fit now packs Honda Sensing safety technology along with a new Sport trim.
Now available on LX, Sport and standard on EX trims and above, Honda Sensing is a suite of safety features that will help the driver avoid collisions. It includes lane keeping assist, road departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and road departure warning. Honda says that the Fit is the most affordable car in America to offer such a comprehensive suite of safety equipment.
As for the new Sport trim, it fits in between LX and EX and adds more aggressive aero features on the exterior of the car along with an exclusive black finish on the 16-inch allow wheels. A diffuser with bright orange upper trim, a chrome exhaust, and Sport badges finish the car’s look.
A pair of colors have also been added to the palette of the Fit: Helio Yellow Pear and Orange Fury.
This is the first major update for the third-generation Fit since the car launched in 2014. More information, including pricing, on the 2018 Fit will be revealed in the near future according to Honda.
