2018 Nissan Maxima Adds New Standard Features

The 2018 Nissan Maxima is now on sale at dealerships nationwide in the U.S.

Powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine, the 2018 Nissan Maxima continues to offer 300 horsepower and is available in five trim levels: S, SV, SL, SR, and Platinum. For 2018, the Maxima adds standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, two available rear USB charge ports, a revised color palette including new premium Carnelian Red color, and new black accents have been added to the dramatic V-motion grille. The 2018 model also carries over the late 2017 model year additions of standard Intelligent Forward Collision Warning and Automatic Emergency Braking on all trim levels.

The entry-level Maxima S is priced from $33,905, which is a $410 price increase from the 2017 model year. Those looking for a sportier driving experience can opt for the Maxima SR, priced from $39,165 which features unique tuning and 19-inch wheels and tires.

The range-topping Nissan Maxima Platinum starts from $41,575 and includes standard NissanConnect with Navigation and Services featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system’s wide range of features includes automatic collision notification, remote start via smartphone, emergency call, stolen vehicle locator, and more.

The 2018 Nissan Maxima is assembled in Smyrna, Tennessee, while the engines are assembled in Decherd, Tennessee.
