The Infiniti QX80 has been given a facelift and the full-size SUV will make its official debut at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show next week.
The 2018 QX80 is not an all-new model but rather a refresh, which, by the way, was first previewed by the QX80 Monograph Concept earlier this year at the 2017 New York Auto Show. The biggest change is the new front fascia, which updates the look to bring it more in line with other Infiniti models.
There are some other changes throughout the body, including redesigned running boards, liftgate, and rear bumper. The tail lights are new and, like the front end, have been redesigned to resemble the rest of Infiniti’s lineup.
Changes to the QX80’s interior are more modest, with a bit more luxury added such as new wood trim, stitching pattern on the seats, and larger rear entertainment screens. No major mechanical changes have been done to the SUV, but the Japanese automaker did add more noise insulation to make the cabin quieter.
We’ll be reporting live from the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show, where the 2018 Infiniti QX80 will make its first public appearance in North America. Stay tuned for more coverage before it heads to dealerships this December.
