Cadillac is celebrating its dominant 2017 IMSA season with new IMSA Championship Edition versions of its ATS-V and CTS-V.
The IMSA Championship Edition models are intended to mark the 2017 IMSA Prototype class championship Cadillac won with its new Dallara DPi-V.R fielded by Wayne Taylor Racing. With brothers Ricky and Jordan Taylor behind the wheel, Cadillac won seven out of 10 races on its way to the championship – including the demanding 24 Hours of Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring.
The ATS-V IMSA Championship Edition is set apart from standard versions of the vehicle by its IMSA hood decals, ‘Red Obsession’ painted mirror caps, a small DPi-V.R motif on the rear window, 18-inch V-Series wheels with black accents, Recaro seats and a Morello Red interior upholstery package. The package also includes a carbon front splitter, rear wing, hood vent and rear diffuser, along with red Brembo brake calipers. A certificate of authenticity is also included so you know this is a true IMSA-backed package.
The CTS-V IMSA Championship Edition is similarly equipped with an IMSA hood decal, a DPi-V.R motif on the rear window, Red Obsession mirror caps, 19-inch alloy V-Series wheels with black accents, Morello red interior upholstery, Recaro seats, a carbon fiber exterior package, red Brembo brake calipers and a certificate of authenticity. It also includes the ‘Luxury Package’ as standard, which adds rear sunshades, heated rear seats, tri-zone climate control and a 110-volt power outlet. Both the CTS-V and ATS-V IMSA Championship Editions will only be available in Black Raven or Crystal White exterior colors.
The 2018 Cadillac IMSA Championship Edition ATS-V sedan will start at $72,190, while coupes will cost $74,390. The CTS-V IMSA Championship Edition sedans will start at $105,730 (destination included in all listed prices). Just 100 examples of each will be built.
