Steph Curry, the 'Nicest Guy in Basketball', Stars in New Infiniti QX50 Ad

Infiniti has debuted a new commercial, starring its brand ambassador, Steph Curry.
The new commercial is part of the launch campaign for the 2019 Infiniti QX50, which features the world’s first production-ready variable compression ratio engine, the VC-Turbo. The NBA superstar is on his way to another Finals, where he’ll square off against LeBron James who is a Kia K900 ambassador.
In the ad, Curry talks about how he’s considered “the nicest guy in basketball,” but people don’t know about his “darker side.” Of course there’s a twist in the 60-second spot, but we won’t ruin it for you.

Just like how the ad portrays Curry’s nicer and darker sides, it also highlights the two sides of the VC-Turbo engine, which Infiniti says sets a new benchmark for powertrain capability and refinement.
“Stephen Curry’s drive to continue to set new benchmarks both on and off the court is an ideal parallel to the attributes of the all-new INFINITI QX50,” said Phil O’Connor, director, Marketing Communications and Media, INFINITI USA. “It is the first crossover with the ability to seamlessly switch between two sides, power and performance as well as efficiency and economy.”
