Rolls-Royce has released a teaser image showing the taillight of its new Cullinan SUV ahead of the vehicle’s debut this Thursday.
The teaser image isn’t all that interesting, as the Cullinan’s taillights look exactly like those found on every other vehicle currently found in the Rolls-Royce portfolio. Luckily we won’t have to wait long to see the real thing, with Rolls-Royce set to live stream the vehicle’s debut Thursday morning.
The British luxury automaker has teased the Cullinan on multiple occasions, including sticking it in the background of an image showing two of its mechanics working on a mini Rolls-Royce kids car (above). It has yet to be seen without camouflage on, but so far, it’s right in line with what imagined a Rolls-Royce SUV would look like. There’s a tall, boxy silhouette, a huge grille and, like we see here, vertically mounted rectangular taillights.
It’s believed that the Cullinan will ride on Rolls-Royce new platform it developed for the all-new Phantom. The vehicle will also likely use the same 563 hp 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 as the new Phantom, along with other equipment from the full-size luxury sedan such as the transmission and interior components.
We’ll have full details on the 2019 Rolls-Royce Cullinan when it debuts on Thursday. In the meantime, you can see it in action in the video below, which previews the ‘The Final Challenge’ film Rolls-Royce developed in conjunction with National Geographic to promote the Cullinan. The film will debut in full alongside the car this week.
