Enter to Win a 2019 Lexus ES Just by Talking to Alexa

To celebrate Amazon Prime Day, the online retailer is giving away an Alexa-equipped Lexus ES.

What is Prime Day? Try asking that question to any Alexa-enabled device and you’ll automatically be entered in the Alexa Home-Smart-Home Sweepstakes and a draw to win an all-new Lexus ES, along with a $52,000 cash prize, a trip to Seattle (where Amazon is based), and a whole suite of Alexa-equipped smart devices for your home.

The smart home component includes a voice-enabled smart thermostat, smart TV, sound bars, video doorbell, and alarm and sensor kits, to name a few. There will also be a draw for 10 second place winners, who will each receive an Amazon Echo, Echo Dot and a Kasa smart Wi-Fi LED light bulb by TP-Link. But back to the Lexus — longer, wider, and lower than before, the new 2019 ES rides on Toyota’s Global Architecture.

The ES 350 is powered by a 302 horsepower, 3.5-liter, V6 engine. There’s also a sport and hybrid model in the 2019 Lexus ES lineup. The hybrid ES 300h is driven by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine and an electric motor with self-charging battery pack. You can read more on the  2019 Lexus ES lineup on AutoGuide, and check out the review we ran of the Lexus ES 350 back in June.

There are 14 ways to enter the contest. The easiest is talking to Alexa — just asking her to “tell me about Prime,” “tell me a joke” or even “what’s my horoscope?” will trigger an entry. For a full list of phrases, see contest rules. Each contestant is allowed up to 10 entries. Other ways to enter including watching the Lexus or Alexa video on the contest homepage while logged into your Amazon account, or mailing in a card with your contact information. Check out the full rules for entry and sweepstakes details here. Contest closes July 15 at midnight.
